Consultation

I will sit down with you in person or via ZOOM, for a consultation to go over your quilt and discuss your plans for it before we proceed.

• If you know which digital pattern, thread and batting you want, let me know in this consultation. If you want something specific that Auntie Sheila doesn’t carry, she will be more than happy to use the product if it functions with her longarm.
• If you aren’t sure about the digital pattern, thread or batting that will be right for your quilt, Auntie Sheila will share some ideas for you to consider in making your choices.
  
• There is a $35 Consultation charge for this session, which goes toward your longarm services when you give Auntie Sheila the go-ahead.
  

Notes:

• If your quilt has thick seams, embellishments, pockets, or denim, there maybe extra charges.
• Auntie Sheila will provide one layer of Hobbs batting of your choice (Silk is extra). If your quilt requires more than one layer, there maybe an extra charge, which she will go over with you during the consultation. 

Quilt Prep

Please note the quilts longarmed as received. Please review the PRE-LONGARM QUILT CHECKLIST on how to prep your quilt. I charge $35/hr for alterations or repair with your approval.

Optional Services

• Basting – 0.03/sq inch minimum charge is $60
• Computerized Edge-to-Edge Quilting – this is a continuous line from left to right with no regards to blocks, borders or sashing. 0.035/sq inch minimum charge is $60
• Computerized Simple Custom Quilting – Blocks, borders and sashing are treated differently. 0.040/sq inch minimum charge is $100
• Computerized Custom – $35/hr minimum charge is $150.
• Computerized Heirloom – $60/hr minimum charge is $300.
